Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Brick Grading Authority, LLC, a California limited liability company that operates BrickFolio ("BrickFolio," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the BrickFolio mobile application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2. How we use information

3. Payments & financial data

Payments and seller payouts are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor, using Stripe Connect. When you pay or register as a seller, your payment card or bank details are collected and stored by Stripe under its own privacy practices. BrickFolio does not store full payment card numbers. We receive limited information from Stripe needed to operate the marketplace, such as transaction status and verification results. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

5. Camera & photos

If you grant permission, the Service uses your device camera to recognize LEGO® sets and to let you add photos to your collection and listings. Images you capture are used to provide these features. We do not access your camera or photo library without your permission, which you can change at any time in your device settings.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information after account closure where required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your account information in the app. To make a request, contact us at support@brick-folio.app. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and individuals in the EEA/UK (GDPR) have specific rights regarding their personal data, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. BrickFolio does not sell personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies & analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and to understand usage. Our app uses device identifiers and analytics and crash-reporting tools to keep the Service reliable. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.

BrickFolio is operated from the United States by Brick Grading Authority, LLC (California, USA). If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. We take steps to protect your information consistent with this policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
